Troubleshooting path

1If an engineer is not assignable, confirm they are active and free in that band.
2If a check shows on the wrong day, confirm the organisation timezone.
3If the day will not fit, re-order with the route planner or move a visit.

Drag to assign or reschedule across morning, afternoon, and evening bands.
See clash warnings for internal double-bookings before they reach the field.

Assignment Readiness

Confirm the engineer is active and not already booked in the same band.
Confirm the property has a current appliance register and access notes.
Confirm the scheduled date supports the renewal window you are trying to protect.

Troubleshooting

Engineer cannot be assigned: confirm they are active and free in that band.
Check appears on the wrong day: confirm the organisation timezone and the scheduled date.
Clash tile shows amber: resolve the double-booking before the field day.

Google Calendar Conflict Protection

Connect Google Calendar and Manifold checks personal calendars for clashes as well as its own bookings, so a school run or a dentist appointment is caught before a job is booked over it. The integration is deliberately privacy-first.

Manifold reads free/busy times only: it can see when someone is busy, never what the event is.
Connect from Settings, then Integrations, and pick which calendars count towards conflicts.
Conflicts appear alongside the internal clash warnings in scheduling and on My Week.
Calendar tokens are stored encrypted, and the connection can be removed at any time.

Troubleshooting

No connect button: the deployment does not have Google Calendar configured; ask your administrator.
A known appointment did not flag: confirm the right calendars are selected and the event is marked busy rather than free.

Handling Clashes

A clash tile means an engineer is double-booked in the same band.
Resolve clashes before the field day so travel and access windows still work.
Use the route planner to confirm the day’s order is physically achievable.
