The Fault Codes Library

Fault codes, under Manage in the sidebar, is a reference library built from your own checks: every code an engineer has recorded, grouped by code and appliance, with how often it was seen, when, and the notes left at the time.

• Codes are recorded in the Error code & manuals panel on a check. The panel is reference only; it does not diagnose the fault.
• An appliance’s page shows its own fault-code history, so a repeat visit starts with what went wrong last time.
• The library belongs to your organisation: it grows from your team’s work and is never shared between workspaces.

Manuals Lookup

• From the same panel, the manuals lookup finds the manufacturer’s own documentation for the appliance, keyed on its GC number and falling back to make and model.
• Manifold links to the manufacturer’s file rather than hosting a copy.
• In the native Android app the index is cached on the device, so a known appliance resolves with no signal, and a manual opened before is available offline too.
