Dashboard and Compliance

The dashboard shows portfolio compliance, due-soon and overdue work, and today’s checks at a glance.

Dashboard Functions

The dashboard in Manifold is the first screen most owners and office users open: a single view of portfolio compliance, the work due today, and tiles that route straight into whatever needs attention next, rather than a page you have to interpret before acting on it.

  • Attention tiles for overdue, due soon, open defects, on today, and follow-ups, each clickable into the underlying list, beside a compliance gauge showing how many properties are in date.
  • Property compliance status across valid, due soon, overdue, action required, and unknown, shown on each row of the due list.
  • Today’s run with engineer and visit window, a due and overdue list, recently generated certificates, and open defects.
  • Direct routes from a tile into the work it represents.

Follow-Ups

Follow-ups, under Overview in the sidebar and as a dashboard tile, is the office list of callbacks and chase-ups that are not checks: a landlord to ring back, a part to order, a quote to nudge.

  • Each follow-up has a title, notes, a due date and a priority (low, normal or high), and is marked done or reopened from the list.
  • Owners and office users see and manage follow-ups; engineers and client viewers do not.

Reading Dashboard Compliance

Every figure on the dashboard traces back to a real record rather than a manual entry, so the same numbers you see here should agree with what a client sees in a delivered record or the portal.

  • Compliance rolls up from the latest record on each property.
  • Due soon means the renewal window is approaching; overdue means it has passed.
  • Action required means a record exists but a defect outcome needs remedial work.
  • See Analytics Console and Reports and AI Summaries when a dashboard tile needs deeper investigation than a click-through provides.

Trust the Right Surface

Analytics, reports, Ask Manifold, and the dashboard answer different questions. Knowing which one to trust for a given question avoids confusing conversations with clients.

  • Use the dashboard for live operational status and the day’s worklist.
  • Use analytics for live, filterable investigation across dimensions.
  • Use reports for client-ready, print-ready output over the same live data, with an optional AI draft.
  • Use Ask Manifold for quick read-only questions, then verify rows before sharing.

Reconcile Differences Calmly

When two surfaces disagree, it is usually because they include different data, not because one is broken.

Troubleshooting

  • Reports and analytics read the same live data; totals differ when the period or a free-text filter differs.
  • Match the period and approval state on both surfaces before assuming an error.
  • Drill into the underlying rows to see exactly what is counted.
