The route planner in Manifold takes the checks already booked for the day and works out a sensible driving order between them, then hands each stop off to your phone’s own turn-by-turn navigation. It is built for the person actually on the road, whether that is an engineer working through an assigned list or a sole trader who scheduled the day themselves.

- Get a travel-aware order and approximate drive-time estimates between visits, worked out from distance and an average speed rather than live traffic.
- See lateness warnings when the plan no longer fits the booked bands.
- Hand off any stop to Google, Apple, or Waze for turn-by-turn navigation.
- Open the route from Plan, then Route (or Prep) on Today’s run, step to the previous or next day, or Jump to today. The Navigation app preference under Settings, then Profile, orders the Google, Apple and Waze buttons, and Ask each time offers all three.
A route plan is only as good as the addresses behind it, so the two things worth checking before you trust it are property accuracy and how recently anything changed. Pair the route planner with the Today board or My Week so the day’s order and the day’s schedule always agree.
- Route quality depends on cached property coordinates; a stop without them still lists, with Navigate working from the address, but it gets no drive-time estimate.
- Use the planned order as a guide, then adjust for access windows and tenant availability.
- Re-plan if checks are added, cancelled, or rescheduled during the day.
- Lateness warnings mean the current plan no longer fits the booked time bands, so slippage is visible before a tenant notices it.
- Map pins, drive-time estimates and lateness warnings need cached coordinates on the property, which Manifold does not look up from the address today. Stops without coordinates stay in the route list unmapped; ask Manifold support to add coordinates for your properties.
